New Crystals!!!

So I went to LA this past weekend to the jewelry district and after hours of searching through tiny bead shops, I found the one for me! I totally scored huge in this place and have been making new items for upcoming home shows and craft shows. Here are a few samples of what I've made. Sorry for the crappy pix. They were taken late at night after my beading frenzy with my phone :).

Black swap with Night's Requiem :)

I sometimes feel like the old lady on Wedding Singer about my jewelry. Her favorite moment is watching someone enjoy her meatballs and my favorite is getting customer appreciation photos. The swap theme on DIYScene for May was BLACK. I sent Ashley from Nightsrequiem 2 necklaces, 2 bracelets, a fishnet glove, a black and white stars wallet and some black twizzlers :). New items coming soon

So I went to San Diego where I have a really great discount at a few bead stores... needless to say that Chad and I got over $400 worth of beads and supplies for a little over $200. I'm ultra excited about making new stuff. I usually make some plain pieces for everyday wear, but I went a little outside the box and this is what I came up with. I'll be posting once I get a better picture taking area.

So I promised that I would be blogging a lot more a couple months ago... but I've gotten back into a busy streak with work, home, the dog, friends and now I'm helping Chad promote his hot rod shop. Check out the website I made for him at www.everettbros.com. Too bad I haven't had time to work on my own, lol. Someday... Anywho, I'm taking a vacation at the beginning of July. I haven't been back home in over a year and a half, so it'll definitely be nice to catch up on old times with good friends. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life. Cheers :)
